I’ve been playing around with Claude Code, and yes, it’s pretty impressive. I can put out lots of code really fast, and with the right context and instructions you can get some pretty good code out of it.

But with heavier use I started feeling a bit like the guy from the movie “Click”, the one who gets a remote control that can fast forward through the boring parts of life.

At first, it’s fun to see how quickly I can generate code. But after a while, Claude starts repeating the same mistakes I already corrected.

I explicitly told it not to commit and push without my approval. For a while it follows the instruction. But then, after I ask it to commit and push once, it starts doing it on its own, without me asking. I keep telling it to stop, and it keeps doing it anyway.

It’s like Adam Sandler’s remote in “Click”. It saves the actions I did once and then repeats them automatically, whether I want it to or not.
